Thinking in Crises –
Migration and the Future Viability of Society
The topic of migration is discussed very contradictorily in terms of the future viability of society – sometimes as a cause and sometimes as a solution to societal crises. How crises arise, how they affect society, and how they can be addressed to make society future-proof will be the focus of this year's lecture series. Under the motto "Thinking in Crises: Migration and the Future Viability of Society," experts from various disciplinary perspectives – politics, economy, climate, education, and social affairs – will examine and discuss current crises in relation to migration and the future viability of society.
